Re: Hugh
Thanks to Vernon and Billy for updating the Forum for me.
I have been really busy updating my website for the past while and it has been a hard slog to be honest but just after I completed the re-design, my computer would not start properly and nothing I could do would fix it. Was going to bite the bullet and get another but tried looking at the hardware and found a faulty back-up hard disk which was the problem. So all fixed now but have to upload all my files, updates and programs etc.
Thankfully, I always keep an off-computer back-up as I have too much to lose if the P.C. decides to pack in.
Anyone interested in checking out my website's re-design, it is here: ss CITY OF CAIRO hopefully, it is now more responsive and can be viewed on mobiles, tablets and main desktops.
Thank you.
Regards
Hugh

Re: Hugh
Hi Hugh
Well so glad that you managed to fix your Puter, and all is now back up and running!
Alway a worry when such happens i know! But as you say to keep a backup is critical at all times, and like you i always keep most all my things on a Spare External Disc, for safety reasons .
I also though always have another Tower in hand should my one i work on crumble! Sort of Double Up on the chance of loosing all.
My Norton also has a backup of course, but i have not had the to use that as yet thank goodness!
Cheers
