Hi Terry good to see you ok ,welcome back to the fray ,,what watch are you on ?, or have you been able to wangle daywork . The overtime is pretty standard 3 a day .The food can be grotty at times . But watch out for the 2 steward called Cappy as can be very tight-fisted at times and has the ear of the old man.The chief steward is trying to make a name for himself by keeping the feeding rate down and is angling for a purchasing officer in the office. Welcome home ... JS.

yer on yer whack here ....if we dont there will be nee duff on sunday....and we have got nee greengage jam......one tatty per man......and one can a week...donkeys breakfasts bring yer own.....nee bog rolls get a little tin can.....ps the harry tate name of seeborn has a gun...if he smiles at you its too late ...ps i write this from shields pier as i have already skinned out....bon voyage bonny lads

in the Market Diner facing the Cunard berth in New York. 10 cents a glass
We would go to the Blood Bank, give a pint of Blood for $5 and get 50 glasses of beer for it
saved on the subs.
