[QUOTE=cappy;367526]....or a very unhappy person .....muchly bitter about life in general....he would not have lasted 5 minutes on any vesssel i was on .....or many others were on ... R683532[/QUOTe
Cappy you are wasting your time, as the said member appears to be Teflon coated for reasons best known to those in charge and even has the audacity to say he doesn't want to see any more tears. This from someone who went crying to the moderators about being cyber bullied on this site, something a seaman would not do, and by his own admission showed all his transmissions to his mother for comment and approval. Once this Woman's Weekly reader gets his/her claws into you it will never let go, John of Oz is not flavour of the month so any of his posts will be commented upon in a bitchy manner. However teflon is very good at brown nosing and I'm surprised that some he does it to cannot see it, or perhaps draw your own conclusions.
Land lubbers are welcome on this site, our three ladies Marian, Brenda and Victoria never try to join in the conversation as if they themselves had served in the MN and comment on things they no nothing about. Being a seascout does not make you a seaman. I can understand why RLT feels the way he does.
No doubt this post will be censored/deleted, so be it, also I will be asked to leave. so be it, and no doubt our Welsh motormouth will come back with some comment only he understands.

Re: awol
More insults, sad five or six band together and
are meant to be / show a good example.
Thankfully the MN men I know and have known
were / are a different breed of men.
The few started this, it is not rocket science.
Calm down and just show a better example and let us all just enjoy the site.

Re: awol
WHATEVER: All becoming pointless. Thankfully, the MN is better remembered now for heroes during conflict.

Re: awol
Give it a rest. You alone are just taking the site back to where you held it
a few years ago.

We sailed with them and know them well. You didn't. Don't try to teach us how to suck eggs

Re: awol
I do not want to exchange insults, hence just ask that you wake up and smell the coffee.
It is easier usually just trying to be nice.
