    Hello Keith.

About 5 years ago my wife Ann was due to have a carpal tunnel operation. A week before it was due she sprained the other hand, and went to a physio who treated her, and gave her a sort of splint to wear in bed. Ann said to her, "Oh that will be two splints at night". The physio asked what the second one was for, and when Ann told her that she was using one for Carpal Tunnel the physio asked if the doctor had looked at her neck. The answer was no. The physio said that "doctors are too keen to use the knife, let me take a look". She worked on Ann's neck and after a couple of day's Ann cancelled the operation and has never had the problem since.
This may not be the case with your wife, but may be worth a mention.

    Good Luck.

    Frank.

Here in Oz we have a company called Hire A Hubby, do all manner of jobs.
Maybe you could do with one just now, easier than all the work in front of you.

But good luck mate, just hang in there.
    Happy daze John in Oz.
