Richard, I am sure if you had asked at the hospital they would have let you see the nurses without going to all of that!

But yes they will for sure put your blood pressure back to normal.

I suggest regular visits to see them just to keep the pressure level.

Good to see you in good hands.
    Happy daze John in Oz.

It must be a good hospital you are in Rich , you look very happy. Take it easy and relax while you can , two beautiful Aussie nurses at your bedside , must bring back memories of your younger years.

Thank you Cappy, Vernon, Ivan, John WS, Chris, Lewis, Vic, Fred, Terry, John in Oz, Brian, Graham, Charlie, Thomas, Bill for the kind response to my AWOL. With blood pressure going above 200 and heart rate going below 40 per minute I am very lucky to have a good, well equipped country hospital about a mile away with good, caring people there. My medication was fine tuned over the week I was there and now I'm remarkably well enough for my dog Yoshi to take me on his leash for a jaunt in the park.

Cappy, that's nice to be an honorary Geordie. The five Geordies and me not turned 16 in a six berth cabin for six months being looked after like a kid brother has never left me. I see there is more than one Geordie in the above list.
Vernon, Thanks Mate, but your last sentence threw you off the visitors list, lol.
Ivan, It's there, one just has to look for it.
John WS, Keep popping those pills and panting and take care.
Chris, They are pretty aren't they. Thought I was dreaming!!
Lewis, No bed bath, but going to the toilet with wires hanging out all over I felt that was in a Dr. Who movie.
Vic, Oh yes indeed, it was good to get home.
Fred, You couldn't knock the grin off my face with a stick.
Terry, Happy days are here again.
John in Oz, Can't do that, Margaret saw the photo and won't let me.
Brian, Looking forward to your next visit. We'll put the kettle on if you get up this way.
Graham, In 1950 after getting my tonsils done in the Dreadnaught Seamen's Hospital in Greenwich I took one of the nurses up to Leicester Square to the pictures. But I sailed a few days later. Sayonara!!
Louis, It is and my memories are still there. All that shenanigan around the globe and right in my own home town she was and tomorrow morning we'll have breakfast together just like we did on the first day of our marriage sixty-one years ago next month.

Thank you all, and now at 10.40 pm, so to bed. Good night,
    Richard
