Off to sunny FLEETWOOD AGAIN.
SUNDAY, .......off for several days again.
.
I am off to sunny Fleetwood
in the pouring rain
I like to go to Fleetwood
better than going to Spain
I can see the ships go sailing past
bound for Douglas and Belfast.
and see the sunset on Morecambe Bay
at the end of another perfect day.
Cheers
Brian

Re: Off to sunny FLEETWOOD AGAIN.
Kong is off to sunny Fleetwood
for Icelandic cod with chips
Fleetwood is better than cruising
'cus He don't pay the sodding tips
though Stena might be foreign
we can pretend they are British ships
but when the sun sets over Morcambe bay
we can sit and have a coffee at Abdullah's beac h. cafe

Re: Off to sunny FLEETWOOD AGAIN.
Kong is off to Fleetwood where he hopes to meet,
Friends of a former time for a meet up,
And the ceremony of washing the feet.
But if the sea is too cold and weather too stormy,
They may decide for Blackpool and meet up with Morecambe and Wise,
Because being made of concrete they will not feel the bite,
While the others make for fairer abodes ..Drink..and carry on the fight.

Re: Off to sunny FLEETWOOD AGAIN.
Not wishing to rain on anyone's parade
but
Social media (which this site is a part of) is a great source of information for criminals targeting the wealthy as footballer John Terry found out recently. He posted a pic. of him and his missus on Instagram with the caption, "Me and Wife enjoying a weeks ski holiday in Switzerland".
On his return home he found that his unoccupied mansion had been broken into twice whilst he was away and over £100,000 of stuff nicked.
