Re: Long pig anyone?
Hi Brain.
Long Pig, well known to the Maori in the days before and after British occupation. I was working on a building site in Auckland, my offsider a big Maori bloke called Andy and I were talking about long pig, I asked him if he had ever eaten any; he said no; but his parents had let him dip his bread in the gravy.

Re: Long pig anyone?
Brian, not Borneo my friend but PNG where friends who were there last year informed me that up in the hills on some of the smaller islands there 'Long Pig' is regularly served. Also going to Guadalcanal on the way back.
That Italian dish is by the way very tasty
Happy daze John in Oz.
