Re: Moving!
7 permanent houses and 90 odd ships is enough changes for me. Although expect one more move to something smaller, not the wooden box. JS

Re: Moving!
good luck with the move ivan. if you have anything missing? (half inched) during a move by a responsible company, they have to be insured and you should claim. take photo's of important and small items. you are the customer and if they alter the plans over your objections, take them to court. i have moved lots of people, mostly on my own for my firm but i was still insured.

Re: Moving!
Although we love it here at the moment,i suppose in time we may have to think of Down sizing too! This Four bedder and two Lounges etc is a bit large now for just the two of us@
Also the Mowing and upkeep is starting to get a bit much, but a few more Years here I hope ,then we will rethink!
Cheers

Re: Moving!
I was going to Fleetwood for a week, SHE had a brilliant idea instead.
Get in that garage if we ever move we have to have an empty garage. , there is 51 years of essential Items in there that I will need one day.
I have not been in there for years, scared of who is living in there.
I told HER I was ill, Rubbish SHE says, are you a whimp or a man, I told HER I have several stitches from my op yesterday. They may get covered in dust. `Tough`, SHE says, `Lets do it. it is all your junk.`
For the sake of peace and quiet, I have a go this morning.
I started at the door, cases of HER junk she brought with HER, then cases of Junk HER son dumped in there when he moved house, then cases and cases of junk from HER daughter when she moved house, No Rumanian or Somali squaters in there, that was a relief.
I had to put them all back. So garage still full of junk,
I told HER I had to go to the Doctors so now I am off for some peace and quiet in the waiting room.
We will start again tomorrow SHE says.
That is why I have never moved in 51 years,
Looking forward to it.
I would rather be at the seaside.
Cheers
Brian.

Re: Moving!
Brian they reckon spiders webs are good for wounds, an old gypsy remedy. If you come across any webs and of course any romanians you find, will qualify this. JS

Re: Moving!
If the mowing gets too much Doc you could always get a couple of sheep in , to keep you in trim
