Best places would be Tamatave, madagascar for the drink and woman and Great lakes for the scenery .. Worst place would be Point Wilson, near Geelong. Just stuck out end of a pier about a mile long to unload ammunition

Piareaus has to be one of the better places I visted as was Genoa. But Sydney and Montys would have to be up there with the best. There was also a very good one in Brisbane near the freezer works.
    Happy daze John in Oz.

A young Lad leaving home to see so much, well what more could i have wished for!
I was just so thankfull for the lucky break i got!

    Default Difficult Choice

I can’t really say that any particular place was the worst that I visited. Whenever and wherever possible I used to try and see much of the places as I could.

My year aboard the Oriana probably holds the most memories of places visited, as with ESSO the overseas visits were to oil terminals in the Gulf and even with Ellermans most of the trips were to Gulf ports, primarily Abadan.

Places that do bring back particular memories include Acapulco, Vancouver, LA (visited Disneyland), Trinidad and Sydney.
