"Avon Bridge" 12/1973 to 7/1974
I was 2nd Engr on Avon Bridge. I am writing a book about my Merchant Navy time, 1962 to 1978. Anyone out there with recollections? Chief Engr was Andy Scott. We, the Chief, and me, left the Avon Bridge in Ras Tanura and by the time we arrived at Heathrow he was still calling me "Second"! Michael (Mick) Wells.
