Lost discharge book.
Does anyone know if I can get a copy of my old discharge book, or ID book? I left Gravesend Sea School in 1977, and think my old discharge book was issued at Tilbury. I've tried a few sources to no avail, so this is the last port of call. Thanks.

Re: Lost discharge book.
Mark you can get a new discharge book but this would not be a copy of your old one just a new book full of empty spaces.

Just to ad to above reply, one must be gainfully Employed on a Ship, or have solid proof of such happening ( An official letter giving full details from a Company ) to be able to apply for a replacement Discharge Book or ID Card!
Cheers
