Register of wages and effects of deceased seamen BT 153
Can anyone help.with regards to the Register column titles. They refer to "Date of receipt of K.K. in this office" and "Particulars of K.K." and "Date when K.K . was sent to Bpard of Trade"
In particular I would like to know what "K.K." stands for/means.
Many thanks

Hi Alex
Well its been a wee bit of time but i have received a reply from the NA.
Here is what they say
Hope this may solve this now ??
Cheers
Dear Mr Vernon MacDonald
Thank you for contacting The National Archives of the United Kingdom.
The initials K.K. used in some of the headings in BT 153/10 just stand for account. I attach an image from BT 153/7 where the same columns are used as BT 153/10 but the word 'account'; is used in the place of 'K.K.' I can find no other explanation elsewhere
