Very interesting picture on World news, an American unmanned Predator hovering miles above Gaza, feeding information to Israeli planes, the big hole in that hospital apparently was the result . More going on than we will ever see.

#21. One of the biggest problems today Des is these countries that have massive men and women under arms living in a world where such is becoming more and more unnecessary , the thing is however what does any country do with a few more million unemployed persons. So they have to find something to do with them. You can’t tell me that a small country like North Korea needs the massive people under arms that she has . The only thing today that large armies are good for are occupation troops. Which will of course solve the problem of what to do with them and at the same save the country from the added burden of recession. Wars keep a lot of people in other jobs making money as most on here are quick to claim. We live in a fast changing world but with a lot of one track minds that can’t keep up with it. The biggest mistake was made some years ago an Example of such was the raising of borders in Europe and many on this site including myself decried the action . Well the results are there to see and if you still think it was the right thing to do then one should live with it and find out. You can’t rely on the good nature of people especially aliens of different cultures and backgrounds it’s just common sense . Cheers JS

A lot has been said about the amount of money that is being made from ordinance sales. I fully agree with those sentiments and do not think that there are many countries that are not involved. But the profits from ordinance pales to the amount that the big construction firms around the world are waiting to get contracts for rebuilding the West bank for sure. It is a never ending cycle by those involved in both the destruction of a country and then the rebuild and so it goes on and on throughout history. Not to mention the construction firms salivating at the thought of getting into the Ukrain as well. We do live in a fecking sick society and so glad that this little black duck does not have to put up with this much longer now lol. As said before? We had the cream of this world
That's the way the mop flops.

My thanks to Brian for this site.

Saw bit of an interview here the other day.
The man being interviewed is the son of one of the HAMAS upper echelon.
He made it very clear he is not in favor of what HAMAS is doing but also said does not agree with action taken by Israel
Yes he said, by all means retaliate but not at the current rate.

But as said at the end of all of this some very big companies will make a killing with the rebuilding and rearming
    Happy daze John in Oz.

#23 It took our fathers and others to give us that breathing space after the 39/45 war Les.
I will also be at the service of remembrance here at the Village on Saturday. That has at least survived and will mean more to some than others . JS
