either that or its a severe case of hogging, but that is where they usually suffer the break up

Saw one come into Port Melbourne looking in a similar way.
But on that occasion according to my neighbor who works the cranes it is not unusual to see some like that.
    Happy daze John in Oz.

That is either an optical illusion or a ship in serious trouble.
Yes some of us know that ships flex. I was on the Volans ULCC in weather you could actually see the flex the full length of the dec. The C/O said she would flex as much as 3metres overall form bow to stern. She was 1100 feet long I think.
In that photo she looks as if she has severe structural fatigue between the first row of containers and the second row from the wheelhouse.
    Anotheer Derbyshire in the making.

Just a few pics of well known box boat failures.

It was a tongue in cheek remark John, ship, boat, was discussed on another post earlier.

Do not know anyone who does not use the term Box Boat, Blue funnel always referred to as China boats
If boat is good enough for the Royal Navy(ref: submarine) it is good enough for me.

Port Boats too...Then what do I know, I was in catering. "Please teachers, can I leave the room?" (doesn't sound right to say, "Please teacher can I leave the cabin?")

Then again, looking at the state of them boats, I think I would have left the M.N. Rodney
