    Default Queen of Bermuda

Anyone know where I can get a crew list of the Quern of Bermuda from the time she was commandeered by the British Government for service during World War Two?

    Hello and welcome,
Do you mean her service from 1939 until 1943 as an armed merchant cruiser or the period afterwards when she was a troopship. Normally all MN Crew Agreements for WW2 - well 1939 -1950 to be exact - are held at TNA Kew. However, there will be no Crew Agreements from her time with the Admiralty as HMS. The RN had a different way of accounting for crew and it was not in the form of a crew list.

    Regards
    Hugh

Woodrow, I should also say if you are looking at the period when the ship was under Admiralty control then if it is a person you are looking for there may be a record held in BT390 at TNA Kew which records MN seamen service on HM Ships - those who signed a T124 Agreement. If you wish to give a name and date and place of birth for any particular person then we are happy to take a look for you.

    Regards
