The only reason I think I know this was one of my kids was doing a family tree and it appeared on their piece of paper when I was looking over his/her shoulder. One of them got his required seatime on A Runciman ship I was on years ago. They served their time on the cutter and got so much seatime for but not enough to sit for 2 mate , and believe it was either their or the DTI s policy to have to be a registered pilot on the Tyne.
