    Hi Marian,
I would be inclined to go with Vernon on this and obtain his D.C.
He resigned from the British MN in 1973 so I suspect any other way will be difficult. I have tried all the possible names of the Malaysian shipping line and come up with nothing I am afraid.
I would agree that he died on board ship whilst docked in Greenwich.
    Regards
    Hugh

#12, Thank you Hugh had already sent a request using the name that JS supplied on the offchance but request has been returned as I'm not on their subscriber list - was worth a shot Wonder why Nicola hasn't applied for his death cert having the date and place of death already? Hoping too that she'll share what documentation re her grandfather William in the MN as have not found any so far. Will wait for Nicola to reply.
