Re: Never seen a ship like this
Thankfully John, Priests & Vicars certainly do not have the same influence today as they did when I was growing up. These days young ones would not think twice and tell the priest to piss off if he dared to tell them they need to have more children. When my son was due to start school because I went to the Catholic Saint anselm college. He could have gone to Redcourt primary school, which at the time was also run by Preists & Nuns. After the way the Christian Brothers frequently kicked the sh-it out of us pupils no effing way was my son going to any religion run school.
Now if only the other crowd could tell the Mad Mullah's and Rabbi's to piss off the UK and the world would probably be a happier place.

Re: Never seen a ship like this
After being told by my sea going mate of five years back in the 50s as to what he went through in his Catholic School, I'm surprised any one still sends their kids there. His drinking stemmed from what he said was sadistic Nuns who taught him, he used to spit on them in the street.

#22 That reminds me of that old joke Des. The head Nun in the convent gets all the Nuns together and says " Sisters I must tell you there is a case of Gonorhea in our establishment." Oh Goody squeels Sister O" Ryan I was getting sick of that Chardonay . JS

Never ceases to amaze me how easily some people quite needlessly drift off the initial subject. I'll get my coat!

Grab your coat and grab your hat, leave your worries on the door step,
just direct your feet to the sunny side of the street
