    Default Edward Cairns

    Hi there I'm looking for Information on Edward Cairns born 27 August 1919 in the Merchant Navy. He was a bathman on discharge in 1943 I am looking for ships served on and what his roles might have been his discharge number is 239009. Thankyou in advance

    Hello Leigh
    The following Link will take you to his Seamans Pouch, these Pouches do not have too much in them, so just basic stuff at times.
    There is though the CRS10 which will hold all his sea time in the MN. This will also include all his Ships Served on.

    You cannot get a replacement Discharge Book!

    As he has a CRS 8 dated 1943 then his Form CRS 10 - service record - will not be held in Series II but Series I.
