Doc, the reports stated he stashed about 13billion, is it a coincidence that they just borrowed a similar amount, or is it just me being cynical? Also, who loaned them the money?

Re: Russian Missiles hit Poland
Saw that a few minutes ago Tony, and wondered the same.
$13b is an awful lot of money to borrow considering the restrictions placed on Russia.

So much for the wests econmic sancitions.
This was from an article dated March 2022
The penalties have blocked a bulk of Russia’s gold and foreign exchange reserves and sought to cut off Moscow from the global financial system.
This was supposed to have happened in Saint Petersburg yesterday Gas pipe explosion? Is it just me or does that look like a pair of privates and a general

Re: Russian Missiles hit Poland
hi tony #32
good morning, Besides the putin millions, it seems another piece to the ukraine puzzle is starting to unravel, It seems that zelensky has been putting large amounts of money into cryptocurrency which if you are not familiar with it is a internet based vertual currency, The company he has been depositing these sums has just declared bankruptcy and losses are in the billions, There is however a direct line to the democratic party in america as the guy who owned the company was the second biggest donor to the democrats, Its only when you think about the billions that america through the biden, have been sent to the ukraine and then zelensky depositing it with the ponzi cryptocurrency firm whom then donates it to the democrat party, it remains to be investigated,

Re: Russian Missiles hit Poland
The mind boggles at some of the things that people do, I always thought that Crypto currency was a con, there again I was wrong as someone made a mint. What would people do if someone asked for money to invest in a brickworks on the Moon? I can really see people lining up to invest, maybe even opening a Factory to make ice cubes in Antarctica, that should melt the money from peoples pockets. I don't have any, so I will just keep reading about these schemes to upload money from peoples pockets and into their own.

Re: Russian Missiles hit Poland
Read that story about Putin and his African money and wondered why it was published?
No doubt there is truth in it and if the news of what is going on is even half true then there are a large number of senior men within the Kremlin who are not happy with Putin.
The fact that things are not going the way they were told they would by Putin, but worse than that the current situation.
But one critic, a general, died very suddenly last week!!!!!

Re: Russian Missiles hit Poland
John.
I said this before, my farther always told me to believe nothing that you read and only half of what you hear. Example, it's the fourth time I have read that Russian troops fired on a nuclear plant, even though according to the same paper it's Russian troops that are guarding it, even showing Russian troops and tanks on guard. Western reporters there must use a lot of toilet paper they are so full of it.

Re: Russian Missiles hit Poland
You are right there Des.
So much daily news about the war but how much is true.
Bit today from the mother of a Russian soldier killed in action. If at all true what she said of Putin could see her just vanish like so mnay who speak against him.
New report says he wants to talk peace, or could that be piece in a new piece of some other country?
