    Default Raymond Claude Rodda

My late father was in the Merchant Navy for a few years from 1953. I've managed to get his DIS. A. number - R585872 and I've also got his B.S.I.C - BS407600 but I'm stuck.
I'm trying to find out what ships he sailed on - I know he sent me a Happy Birthday telegram from Texas when I was maybe 3 or 4.
Can anyone point me in the right direction, please?
Any help would be much appreciated.
    Thank you

    Hello Raymond
Thanks for the Thread posting, and hope we can assist. Well i will start off with his Seamans Pouch Link, where you will get his Basic Details, possibly a few Ship Numbers? But you will need his CRS10 for full Service Records, this will have everything you may be seeking! With the Ship Numbers you can then of course ID the various Ships he was on.
After that there is also the Voyage Record Cards available , which will show the Posts he visited!
    Hope this will assist!
    Cheers
