    I recall many years ago reading a black gang magazine which contained an advert comprising a photograph of an "engineer" crouching on top of a large generator wearing pristine white overalls white shirt black tie and cap. The caption underneath read "middle watch on the Iberia" !! only dear old P and O could come up with that sort of promo.

    Wonder if that was the one that blew up outside Vancouver?
    I was on the Iberia when it did that....was told it was a bit of a jinx ship....lots of problems.
    Glad I got off in Vancouver, wasn't going to hang around for more of that, had my Greyhound tickets and took off post haste. LOL
