Hi Doc, thank you very much for this picture. It is very similar and very beautiful. And again it has that 5 pointed star in the top right of the lid. I'm sure I was told that it mean't something by my great, great grandmother. I just can't recall what that was. I must be losing my memory. I'm curious to know how big the sea chest is perhaps there is a standard size for a ships carpenter? Is there is any more information available on this chest?
