    Default Scam alert

just a heads up twice this week I have had emails and messages on my computer & mobile phone . Today was (Sunday) SANTANDER. We have noticed unusual activity on your account. To prevent a block being placed visit santander.co.uk-logon.support. Now that looks pretty genuine. Thing is I don't and never have banked with Santander. They also helpfully supplied a contact phone number for them +447748445258.

The other scam was Hermes: Sorry we missed your delivery today. Please visit here, hermes-rebook-delivery.com to arrange a redelivery. They also helpfully supplied a contact phone number +447931076477.
As I have not ordered anything online I think I will also pass on this one as well.
I have heard of this Hermes scam before and people have fell for it. I believe what the scammer does is advise there is an extra redelivery charge and you can pay this now if you have your card details to hand. Hard to believe that some people are taken in by these barstewards.
    just a heads up.
I am still waiting on my £40million from my very good friend from Nigeria who says he will deposit the money just as soon as I let him have my bank details. I did suggest he sent it by parcel post but to date he does not seem to be to happy about doing that. Maybe he is concerned it may get lost in the post.

Lewis mate been getting those type of things for Yonks now, just ignore them all and Block where i can. On the Mobile at least one can Block any number that called!
On the Internet, i have the Norton which seems to have kept them at bay thus far!

I never, never click on an email that is from someone I don't know, and even if I did know them, if it's been a long time I'm careful. We don't have a mobile, but we get calls on the phone that are cons all the time, we now know that they target different towns, for about a month at a time, when they start we just take the phone off, all the calls are saved so we can go through them in one delete, or is that delight.

Here is the latest scam to me. I don't answer the telephone, the answering machine shows the name of the caller if not shown, let it ring till the machine kicks in no message left normally on a Friday two to three calls.
Today I received a letter and if you believe this you are in trouble.

Have received similar in the past but not seen that kind for some years.
According to facts given out here the other day here in Oz during 2019 some $500 million was scammed from people.
Biggest was the love style ones, catching unsuspecting females who go net fishing for men.
    Happy daze John in Oz.

#9, one thing John, I don't think there will be to many ladies fishing for men on here unless they are offering a product that Pfizer produce !!!! Mind you a few may try tapping up some of the studs for not paying the full bill for services rendered a few years ago. 3/9d + 50 years inflation may knock a hole in a some ones pension.
