John when was the last time you actually were in China? I don't mean on a cruise ship or a flying visit to the great wall of China? I lived in Shanghai for 18 months as part of a team overseeing a joint project between BP & CLISCO.
and more arrive from country areas each year, are doing very well. Well if those people are doing well it must be really bloody hard in the country side.

A while ago Lewis, but our financial advisor was there twice just before the pandemic with his bank.
They did a very comprehensive tour of a number of small cities, as part of the research.
He explained how a number of small cities are being built to acomodate the move for many from country to city.
It will not happen over night but is stating as the nation becomes more comercialised.
Yes the country like all has it's poor but there is still the push by more there now to improve their lives.
