    Exclamation old pensions

    Hi, I was at sea in the 1960s and still have my pension book that i payed into.
    Has anyone here got any info on this .I have never receivied any M N pension

    Phil, the following links may be helpful.
    Have you changed address since the 60's ?
    The number of people who forget to notify NS&I Premium Bonds of a change of address!!!!!

    If memory serves me right even the UK state pension you have to contact the DWP to inform them that you are approaching pension age.

    There was no Merchant Navy ratings pension fund prior to 1978, although through the RMT union people who were at sea before the 78 period can try and claim up to £400 a year credit for each year of service from the fund. google RMT Merchant Navy Pensions victory.
