#62 If you had a vote tomorrow in England on English independence the english would vote yes and the United Kingdom would be no more. The 2016 EU referendum was about immigration and taking back control, it was also about English independence.
English independence is a political stance advocating secession of England from the United Kingdom. Support for secession of England (the UK's largest and most populated country ) has been influenced by the increasing devolution of political powers to Scotland , Wales and Northern Ireland , where independence from the United Kingdom is a prominent subject of political debate.
There is a bridge linking Denmark to Sweden that goes over one of the main shipping routes from the Baltic to the North sea, under which there is sufficient clearance for even mega sized cruise ships to pass, so it is feasible to build a bridge from Scotland to Northern Ireland.

###64 there is no doubt the majority of english would be quite happy to say the least...to dumping ireland wales and scotland...we are pretty sure we would do extremely well without the problems ..coming from them ......but it would be foolhardy as together even allowing for massive diffrences..we hold a good deal of say far beyond our population size and are still looked upon with respect ....in many countries....worldwide ....just my view....cappy
#65 Yes John they have built a bridge between Denmark & Sweden, but I doubt there is 1.5 million tons of unexploded bombs and other explosive material lying at the bottom of that stretch of water unlike the North channel. Beaufort's Dyke is a natural trench between Northern Ireland and Scotland within the North Channel. The dyke is 50 km (30 miles) long, 3.5 km (2 miles) wide and 200–300 m (700–1,000 ft) deep. This was used as a dumping ground after the war and beyond.
#68, why would Scotland dump its Lowlanders?
