Re: Covid
Well Poor old Boris will be castigated again, when it all breaks out again, and yes Lewis he did say that these are dates to aim for and are not set in stone, that is why there is a five week interval between every step and that each step will be reviewed at the end of the fourth week of each step, and only if it is safe to do so, will the next step follow. Like you Lewis and others I cannot understand what the Press/Media do not understand about this. I do hope that all those souls who are booking willy nilly have a good refund policy, but if I was running a holiday business/let I would make it abundantly clear there will be a non-refundable booking fee, it takes a lot of money to get accommodation back on stream again and all that expense needs to be borne by someone. If I was foolish enough to book a holiday, then I would expect to pay a non-refundable deposit, and even under normal circumstances the full cost of the holiday has to be paid 8 -12 weeks before commencement.
We in Devon are not looking forward to the influx of tourists, as we have seen on TV how the townies behave in their own natural habit. We haven't seen our grandchildren or any relative since December 2019, except on computer, but if we have to wait until its safer, then guess we'll wait, even though we are missing the young years.

Re: Covid
Like Boris our PM and state Premiers have all put forward various scenarios of what will occur and when.
I listen to my niece and her husband in UK, both in senior medical positions.
The Vaccine, no matter which will work just as well.
The enemy here is not the Virus, it is the media with their stories off horror most of which are only on the prorifferal but they turn it into a major movie.
Take away the media, look at what is proposed, use your brain and see the true situation.
Sadly for about 50% Fakebook is where they get their wrongful information from.

Happy daze John in Oz.
