Hi cappy not much use as in Aussie but i know what you mean about sitting on the Blower mate!
But i too eventually gt to work out my Gas pricing after some research.
Was quite surprised at the cost as it is alot better than i thought!
    Cheers

Hope you have it all sorted now!

Electric smart meters here in Oz but no gas yet, water ones on trial, hope they do better than dog ones , all found guilty.

Our gas is measured in heating value x pressure factor = total Mj.!!!!!=cost to customer

But as to annual costs, here are mine to give guide.

    Phone/internet/Netflix $1165
    Gas $1180
    Electric $370 have solar panels
    Rates $1685
    Water $1020
    House and contents insurance $1120
Motor reg for 2 cars $780
    Motor insurance 2 cars $1415

About 2 dollars to the GBP just now.
    How do they compare?
