Memory Loss
My memory seems to be fading fast and I would like to know where I could get hold of cabin or deck plans for two of the ships I sailed on, i.e. La Loma (1966) and La Sierra. (1967) I am writing my memoires of my time at sea for the family, but the memory is starting to play tricks on me. Some days I can't remember getting out of bed!
Any help would be appreciated

Hi Ernest
Dont worry you are not alone on that ,a lot of us here i am sure suffer from the same forgetfullness ! haha Isnt it called old age!
On the brighter side haha is this the one in question, and if so i really am not sure as to where there may be Plans of her!
Possibly the Archives in London??
Or what about the Library
Archives held at LMA.
London Metropolitan Archives (LMA) is the largest local authority record office in the United Kingdom. There are 72KM of archives, modern records, plans, audio-visual and printed material in our strong-rooms
I am sure someone will come up with some answers!
I know that Mike Hall may have some info on all that,as he was at one time looking for Ship plans!
All the best and good luck!
Cheers

Ref Initail post by Fletcher Memory Loss
Hi Ernest
Dave (who runs this site) http://www.lahaciendaandotherstories.co.uk/ may know someone who can help. There are plenty of Buries Markes people who use the site and may be able to help.
Good luck in your quest.
Regards
Brian
