I jumped ship in Oz in 1970, the ship was the "ARANDA" Shaw Saville. Is it possible after all the time to recover my discharge book?

    Hi Stan
You cannot get an actual replacement Book unless you are employed by a Shipping Company ,or have a letter as such.
But your Seamans Pouch is at the Archives, which will hold Basic info.
You will need to get copies of your CRS10 Files for full Service Records.
    Cheers

    Hi Doc,
I have my pouch from Kew, I also have the logs from the ships I sailed on, from the university in St John's Newfoundland. I just wonder where my discharge book would have ended up from the "ARANDA" after I jumped ship. Thanks for your help.

It would have been sent back to the Board Of Trade Cardiff , as far as i know!
Called something else though later cannot think of the name now?
Although you have the Logs etc, are those also the Crew Lists ? Like me i got all my Entries as well from there.
However the CRS10 Files would have a lot more info i am lead to believe.
