Sounds a bit dodgy to me Brian. I have outlook and have never been asked to pay. Currently using icloud, all totally free.

The above are actual Program Suites Brian
You dont need those at all, you can just use Outlook alone for your Email.

Outlook Express i think is the correct one !
But Windows 10 if you upgrade has its own Email Built in as said
    Cheers

Download and use Libre Office Suite for your Documents etc its Free and good

There are numerous free programs out there if you take the time to look carefully.

But searching can prove a problem at times, I was searching and as a result one of the sites kept appearing even though not wanted.

Did get rid of it but it took the front page of Google with it.
Google still comes up but with no pictures or browser bar so have to use the top bar to get anywhere.
    Happy daze John in Oz.

Regarding Microsoft office, at the moment there are deals on it, forget office 365, that's an annual subscription suite of programs. I have seen MS office home or student edition on the internet for a on off £50, download only. MS office is probably the standard for business users for spreadsheet, document writing and presentations but for ordinary mortals Apache Open Office gives you almost as much and it's totally free and as a bonus is compatible with MS office so documents, spreadsheets written in MS office can be opened in Apache open office and vice versa.
