The Happy Ship: P&O Chusan
ASTURIAS: SS Asturias
Sorry john, was on a different ship, just there the same time. I was in a few ports the same time as the Chusan.

Just out of interest, presume the same Asturias. She was released from Sea Transport service 12 Sept 1957 and played the part of Titanic in 'A Night to Remember' filmed at Faslane before being sold for scrapping.

Hello Cliff,
I am a member of Ancestry and just searched this for you.................... All UK and Ireland, Outward Passenger Lists, 1890-1960 results for Cliff Phillips Ancestry have most it not all the available shipping lists up on line. I searched under your name and ship but there were many hundreds of names so the search needs a little more detail in order to be refined sufficiently to be successful. You might find it easier to search for your Mother as children show up less often. I was also a child of the empire and I was on troopships to and from Bombay in 1947 and to and from Singapore in 1948 and 1949. I found my own original passenger lists in 2012 and they were most informative. I suggest you have a look at "Ancestry." Membership is not cheap but you can also access for free at a public library or at the PRO in Kew, London. Cheers from Australia
Thanks Raymond , however i think my Post #8 will have the info as well, but as i said like you it costs Cheers
