Captain Arthur Jones and his ships.
My Great Uncle Captain Arthur Jones cert. No. 031271. had a long career at sea and I am attempting to research each of his ships when I can do so. He sailed as an AB aboard the SS ISLE OF ANGLESEY, ON- 93800 from March of 1892 through October 1894. He also sailed as AB aboard THE SS ISLE OF CALDY ON- 102189 from January 1895 to July of 1985 and lastly he sailed as 2nd Mate aboard the SS ISLE OF RAMSEY ON- 99350 from January 1897 to August of 1901. I would like to find out more about these ships for example did they all belong to the same steamship company and what was the name of the steamship company. The home port of registry of all three of them was Liverpool. Any basic data to start with would be very much appreciated.
