    Well John, one of them guys, forgot his name but escaped to Brazil, worked as a carpenter on a Motel not far from where we live now.

    But the best bit, my brother in law, now gone, worked for the tax office and one year gave him advice on how to lodge his tax return.
    Happy daze John in Oz.

    At least I got a letter of apology from Downing Street , not number 10 but close to it. The bloke who caused the trouble got a black eye, should have been his nose. However shouldn’t speak ill of the dead where he must be now as was much older than me at the time. Cheers JS
    Getting back to abbreviations RNR ... Royal Naval Reserve or Rest and Recuperation , soomebody couldn’t spell And. Cheers JS

    "Lodge" or maybe "Dodge" ?
