Remember This ?
Re: Help With Naval Cap Badge Relic Identification
Found this very similar to the badge in question, Although this one is Alfred Holt {Blue Funnel } it could well be a cap badge the plot thickens,
I have just come across this PSNC Uniform Badge, And a Spoon ??????????????????

Re: Remember This ?
The badge with the M would tally with the Metcalf Shipping Co. of West Hartlepool. Couple of tramp steamers Dunelmia and Industria spring to mind.
Aureol spoon is Elder Dempster.

Re: Remember This ?
Hi John, When the badge on the right was first posted as unidentified, It was a guy walking on the banks of the Thames who found it and posted it on the site see if anyone could I.D. It for him.
There was a company formed in Liverpool and later moved operations to London the company was Moss tankers which was the best we could find that would connect the colours on the uniform badge and the River Thames, Thats not to say i am correct it still remains a bit of a mystery, And your theory may well be correct but a lot of searches where made by a lot of members at the time. And we until someone can undisputedlly connect the badge to any company are still all guessing Regards John Terry.
