Thanks for bringing us up to date, FG/HT/RA/MT are probably the only letters engraved on us oldies brains, apart from VG/DR/VNC, never had the latter two!

Hi I have my fathers Certificat of Discharge Book and am trying to figure out all the various employments and destinations throught WW2 and up to 1960. Can you please tell me what HT stands for

The food was bloody uneatable, no air con in the tropics
no grog on board, skipper was a barsteward, up some remote river to load crap, oh yes it was a great voyage.
