    Default ship id & logs.

Hi Was on deck 1969 to 74 looking for logs for the ships I was on to support a book I'm trying to write m.v.Trebartha 1970 ,for example. Also anybody heard of a story of a mv that was reported missing on a trip from oz to Cape town. It turned up some months later using her canvas hatch covers (tarps), as sails!. Engine broke down and could not repair. Presume 1900 to 1970, and possibly a FEDERAL, or N.Z.S.C. boat .If you can help please.
    All the best.Graham

    Default

The Rakaia , of NZSC , my brother was on her. She sailed with the Tarps as sails after an engine beak down.
