Two years ago after being away for a couple of months I saw loads of wasps around my bedroom window , and going in and out of the roof space of the Bay window over the upstairs bedroom, there were many thousands of wasps, couldn't believe how many.
I put on my old North Sea Survival Suit, goggles and a face mask, I was completely covered from head to foot.
I climbed the ladder with two spray canisters and then prised open the Lead roofing and many thousands of wasps came pouring out, I was covered, I sprayed all over me and around the roof space, they were pouring over the edge like a waterfall. The nest was four feet long , two feet wide and nearly a foot deep.
I got my hands in and dumped it all down below, Had some more spray waiting at the bottom of the ladders and sprayed all over myself again , Went back up the ladder and sprayed again and cleaned out the space so no trace left.
I had a big shovel and shovelled all the dead wasps and nest into my wheelie bin, filling it.
Don't want to do that again.

Be as you may but a bee stings only once, where as the wasp is like the mother in law, stings often and hard.
