Why is it so ?
Can anyone tell me why Keith has his own Forum and yet posts so much on any other subject in open forums.
Not intended to upset anyone, just genuinely interested, why he is special enough to get his own forum, yet Doc does not, yet is the top contributor.
Serious answers only please.

Re: Why is it so ?
Most of the open forums have little to do with the MN,
surely we can all talk about beef burgers, cars and dogs
etc, etc etc.

Re: Why is it so ?
#1 Had noticed it , but never opened to see what it was about until 5 minutes ago . Seemed a lot on it but haven’t read any of it. There’s enough on here on the other forums for most people , well at least for me , which a lot of I don’t read either. Not because not interested but just because of other interests . Away from computers .Cheers JS.

Yes John, despite me being very interested in ships,Lloyds, casualties, disposals, research etc and finding time for a spot of often silly but 'educated ' banter' with ex-seamen,and the few very sensible and understanding ladies,I still find the time to have a fairly fulfilled Life-and get my eight hours sleep as well --making up for the luxury denied for 20 years when I was on sea watches, and the demanding, very sweaty 6 hours on,6 hours off in port cargo working in the tropics (and I don't mean just ogling containers !

Re: Why is it so ?
I suffer sleep abpnia and is during mostly these periods I get the time to fill in. Gave up all the remedies for such years ago so it will kill me giving time , if something more like a double decker bus doesn’t get there first, or the present world scourge. All I can say about the ships , I have no regrets and would probably do the same again , maybe in a different manner though. To get memory’s you have to live them and mostly they were good . Cheers JS

Re: Why is it so ?
In answer !
Keith was given his own Section a long time back, this was granted by Mr Probetts, as at the time Keith was and i must say at times now still does Contribute a lot about the Merchant Navy.
It was thought that possibly a Section of his own may have been a good thing , which it turned out to be .
Most of his Threads on there are of the Merchant Navy and i think a good contribution to the site, however having said that i still do wish that all of his posts concerning the Merchant Navy would be posted in his own Forum, this would keep it all together and in context!
As for me , well i really dont see any reason for having a Forum of my own , as now besides what i do post and read, there would be not much point in that ??
We have tried to accommodate one or two with such, but i will have to look at those left and see if they still need to be here! Will conflab with Brian on this later!
So on with the Show as they say!
Cheers

Re: Why is it so ?
I agree, it should all be kept in his own forum.
Surely that is why he was given one????????????????
However I do not bother with his, find them repetative and a bit mundane.

Happy daze John in Oz.
