Greetings
I am researching Thomas Bean dob 1885 dis # 380814 home port Hull
This is what I have found in reverse date order
1922 SELBY. 146505
1922 FULLERTON 133410
1915 CITO 110737
Unknown date ORISTANO 132805
Unknown date VOLTURNO 93148 CAUGHT FIRE IN MARSEILLES TOWED TO HULL THEN SCRAPPED 1912
Or
Uknown date VOLTURNO 123737 CAUGHT FIRE MID ATLANTIC FOUNDERED 1913
I dont have enough knowledge to work out which of the two ships named VOLTURNO Thomas Bean served on
Cana anyone help please

Thomas Bean is. not my relative but I am doing the research for a friend who is his grandson , i have found his Cr10 and his service records - minesweeping 1919 on the Pangbourne , but I am not familiar with crew lists and such .

Nice of you to be doing some research for someone else!
The following Link is the place I feel to look for Crew Lists,just Type the ON of each ship and it will tell if they hold that list!
You can contact Tanya MacDonald there.she is very helpful in these matters.
I have received lists from her in the past! There is however of course a cost involved!

thanks for the link . I have used the website , very easy to use , unfortunately it tells me there are no crew lists available for the mariner / dates I am researching , but it has saved me a good deal of fruitless searching
