I had already delivered two babies when I did the Midwifery Course so that was the easy bit.
Both my sons at home here. midwife was late on both occasions.

Did to trips on the Waipawa 1965-66 as a engineer.

From all accounts she did originally carry passengers but after the war the accommodation was stripped out for more cargo capacity.

However on the deckheads where the accommodation was war brides had put their names. It was interesting walking thru this area and reading the names
