Hi Brian.
I have put many a ship in a bottle, did the last one about three years ago, took the makings up to the pensioners club along with my photograph album of all my ships, down here in the country some had never seen a ship unless on TV. I had the ship ready to go in the bottle which I did it's still up there somewhere.
My daughter still has two I made one in a light bulb one and in a sort of flat half round bottle, I learned to do them from an old sea dog years ago, I have one lying in the wardrobe it was replaced by a model of the Cutty Sark my son made.
My brother who lived in NZ{Crossed the Bar about twelve years ago] used to put ships in small scent bottles had his pic in the paper over there. Easy when you know how. I used to use wood from old boxes that came from the baltic.

100_1185.jpg Here hold up I,m on run here the trouble with taking photos of ships in bottles they get distorted , by the way Ivan we dont have to look to close at the women after all we would only be going back to look at the wonderful buildings and to see the sites and the wildlife best regards to all hands
