I have a list of all the ship's my dad was on this is what I can make out from the information I got from kew.

    Mydrecht. 19-1-44
    Mnrp. 19-6-45
    Katowice (polish) 4-9-45
    Mnrp. 14-9-45
    Strartmaver. 3.10.45
    Royal daffodil 19-12-45
    Rangitata 13-4-46
    Trenorlal 1-10-46
    Fort rouille. 11-4-47
    Emp halladale. 8-7-47

    Tamaroa 27-11-47
    Dominion monarch 19-9-57
    Mataroa. 23-1-52

Was there a ship called the DO DO. as this apairs three times on the crs 10. 29-6-49, 9-5-50, 13-7-51.

What is a cso 56 issued 6-10-50 and again 6-3-52 own request?

    Claire,
I would suggest you post the CRS 10 as an attachment so we can take a look......some of those ship's names that you have transposed are incorrectly spelt - not surprising as a CRS 10 can be difficult to interpret sometimes.

What is a cso 56 issued 6-10-50 and again 6-3-52 own request?
It is CRS 56 (Transfer of a seaman to national registration and civil rationing).

MNRP = Merchant Navy Reserve Pool.

Jim is correct re DO = Ditto - used a lot in MN records.

    Regards
    Hugh
