Discharge book
I have lost my discharge book and would like to get the info on ships sailed PORTS visited. So I have been in touch with national archives and got back from them bt372 original papers to apply for my discharge book which was disappointing further research led me to needing to get into the bt382 files for the crs10 form I got some confusing info from archives eventually they said no copies can be made from bt382 so I am stuck any help would be welcome!

Re: Discharge book
Hello Graham,
Typical "daft" reply from Kew. You can get copies of your CRS10 but you will have to use their research services and it will cost you. Best if you can go to Kew yourself and copy for free otherwise send me a PM with your email address and I will put you on to someone who will copy it for about £5 instead of £50 plus. Note, however, that BT 382 will stop at 1972.
Regards
Hugh
