I was at the sea school in 1973 It was peanut then
Jim, I left in early November 1956, my discharge book is dated 9th November 1956, and like you I was never referred to as a peanut.

Off subject a little bit here (sorry) but had to add that when on the Gold Mines learning the Job,we were also in a School of Mines it was called and all of us were then known as Jam Tarries ! LOL (Jam Tarts) what a name to be labelled with for a Year!
