He didn't stay long, as that number would have been issued 1954/55

Come on Lads please give the Full Number , unless you have forgotten it and only remember the start digit!????
Also as i have requested before on this Thread, i will and cannot add those names and Numbers etc unless you give the full details, that is
Your First Ship, your full Number the Year and which Company!
All those that give just a snippet is of no use or help at all!
Thank You
Hey Doc, I missed the request before in this thread about all the details of service. It looks like you are putting together a list/record of numbers. I thought you were just looking for numbers specific to date issued.

Re: Discharge Book numbering from WW 2 to 1972 for British seamen
Hi Paul
Well i was at first Paul, but later seeing as there were s many adding their Numbers i decided to ask for more detail, as there is another Thread (Will have to find it) that also deals with the Crew Member issue of Numbers , Ships etc, and it seemed that many of the names added here were not being added to the other Thread!
Many thanks for the addition anyway Paul.
I still have to do quite a lot of work, as i have dropped back a bit on my project of adding all the names to the Flag!
Cheers
