I spent all weekend going through my Grandads paperwork records and this is what I have found.

If anyone can tell me about these ships or any more information I would be really grateful.

HMS ROYAL ARTHUR WAS NOT A SHIP, IT WAS AN EX BUTLINS HOLIDAY CAMP in Skegness, taken over by the Navy to train new recruits,
see below, many photos , he could be on one.
HMS ROSNEATH was also a Navy shore base on the Clyde and was taken over by the USN in August 1942,
