    Smile Cory,s iron ore ships

    Does anyone remember Cory,s iron ore boats.I was second cook on the Knightsgarth in the late sixties and she was a great ship with a great crew.I wonder if you remember them.

    Hi Tony, Hi Shipmates, I was on that one!!! and the Dukesgarth at that time , but the Mrs has put away my discharge books so dont' know the exact dates I was on deck for a few trips but you are right we did have good shipmates, Do you remember "Mike mohamad" from Cardiff he was 2nd cook{His bread and rolls were the best } great guy spoke to him a few weeks ago he still going strong. all the best mate There are still a few of us on this great site who were on them

    Hi Tony,
    I joined the Knightsgarth in Birkenhead,12,oct,1965.I was AB
    We sailed to Lulea-Sweden by way of the Kiel Canal. Returned to pay off in South Shields late Oct.
