    Default Cleaning chambers

Many times, but I was Baggage Mastere`s assistant for trip or two on one of Royal Mail `A`ships and spent long hours Gassing chambers prior to loading in BA. We use a compressed air misting spray of basil 99 which was safer than the Potash & Formaldihide bombs that went before. A quantity of Potash was Wrapped in news paper and dropped in a bucket of Formaldihide and you had a few seconds before the liquid soaked through the paper to get clear. Lots of loss of doss on that job and very little work, I just needed a watch and something to read.

    Happy days
